Project Description
El Greco is a Greek fast food restaurant in Zagreb. The creation of a visual identity for El Greco was sought to merge two Mediterranean countries (Greece and Croatia) and their immense love for food.
The idea for restaurant’s visuals came from the fusion of general associations to Greece and their contribution to world art. I have combined brush strokes, which were the basic tool of the popular greek artist El Greco and Greek gyros as a traditional Mediterranean cuisine, thus integrating “the art of cooking” as a mean of expression.
